Autumn is here and to celebrate its' arrival we're featuring APS Plan #1103 "The Autumn Harvest"! This delightful brick ranch home plan is an economical 1,197 sq. ft. that appears to be much larger. Careful design allows amenities not usually found in a home of this size. It's front porch makes this house exceptionally inviting. Upon entering the front door, you will be impressed with this home's splendid features, including a fireplace, plant shelf and vaulted family room. The Kensington is a delightful 4 bedroom Craftsman home plan that is perfect for active family life. The hub of the home is the spacious kitchen with a corner fireplace and a sitting/breakfast area which accesses the deck and the vaulted screened porch. Food prep and cleanup is a breeze at the center island where the double sink and dishwasher are located, as well as a snack bar. Storage abounds in the walk-in corner pantry. Dinner is served in the elegant dining room which boasts a dramatic boxed vault ceiling and built-in shelves and cabinetry. Across the foyer is a roomy den which could also serve as a home office. The great room is highlighted by a fireplace flanked by twin built-in shelving units. This room also has access to the perfect deck for entertaining! The Pohlman Place is a charming 2,493 square foot house plan that features a split 3-car garage with a workshop, a spacious front porch and a brick, stone and siding exterior with shake accents and Craftsman-inspired details. The entry unfolds to a columned dining room, home office and powder room. The large gourmet kitchen has an angled breakfast nook and a snack bar to provide additional seating and food prep space. Cabinets and shelves in the breakfast area offer a compact pantry. The center island holds a cook-top. A welcoming fireplace warms the cozy two-story family room.

This house plan is what we choose to call an “Elegant Country” style. The Smithfield is a simple house plan, but becomes irresistible with its full-surround porch and symmetrical dormers. If you can bear to leave the delightful porch for a while to go inside, you’ll find a somewhat contemporary house plan with lively angles, room brightening clerestory windows and spacious open areas.

This is a “master on main level” plan with lots of glass, an open family room, kitchen and eating area, and very little wasted space. Upstairs are 2 sizeable bedrooms and a loft. Bedroom 2 has a walk-in closet with a pass-through to attic storage and built-in bookcase. Bedroom 3 has a built-in desk and bookshelves. A special convenience is the laundry chute just outside bedroom 2.

The ceilings on the main level are 9’ except for the clerestory areas above the master bedroom, family room, eating area and dining area which rise to approximately 18’. Upstairs ceilings are 8’.

We've integrated our customer's most requested features into a mid-sized ranch in the creation of the The Mount Airy. The Craftsman style siding and stone exterior is accented with a "Palladian" window, dormers, multi-level trim and an inviting front porch. A flexible office/living/4th bedroom, an exquisite master suite, a 3-car garage with a utility sink, and a large screened porch are sure to make this 2000 square foot home irresistible.

The exceptional master suite, with direct access to the deck, a sitting area, full-featured bath, and spacious walk-in closets, create a true "Master's Retreat."
